Does anyone ever feel like when your team doesn’t play on a Sunday, your whole routine is thrown off? Maybe? It’s like I don’t know what to do, every other game that’s on just seems boring. Maybe it’s just me…
Anyway, I was really looking forward to seeing the Panthers back playing on a Sunday afternoon. Was really pumped because they were on the road but at Chicago playing the Bears, and still holding down the #1 spot in the NFC South.
Man, what a disappointment. How frustrating is it that we can control time of possession the entire game, but we can’t get get anything to happen offensively to score nothing more than a dang field goal??
The O-line crumbled, Cam couldn’t make anything happen and was sacked far too many times, and let’s not even discuss the interceptions. It’s painfully obvious Cam is missing his number one target Olsen. Sadly, there were plenty of cries around the Queen City of “Fire Shula” following the game.
I don’t think we’re there yet, I think we’re still trying to battle through injuries that keep plaguing our offense. Traditionally, Cam and the Panthers have been better in the second half of the season, and I hope that history continues to repeat itself. Fingers crossed this was a wake up call, because they’re in a must-win situation when they travel to Tampa Bay next week.
Still believing in you, ‘Thers. Still plenty of football left to play.
